Official Ruleset
The Rules
Every rule exists for a reason. Read carefully — ignorance is not a valid excuse during the game. Admins have final say on all disputes.
Core Concept
The Objective
Each registered player is assigned a single target and becomes an assassin. The game continues until only one player remains. Eliminate your target — survive the round — advance.
Round Length
Each round lasts exactly 7 days — giving players a full school week for parking lot hunts and a weekend for residential gameplay.
Auto-Elimination (M.I.A.)
If you do NOT get a splash by the end of your 7-day round, you are automatically eliminated — designated M.I.A. This prevents "turtling." You must be an active hunter to survive.
No Cheating
Cheating includes breaking any rule for an elimination, abusing loopholes, or manipulating your location on the Splashin app. This results in immediate disqualification with no refund.
Elimination Rules
Video Proof Required
Every elimination MUST be recorded and uploaded to Splashin in video format. No video = no kill. The burden of proof is always on the assassin, not the target.
Video Quality Standard
If the uploaded video is blurry, unclear, or inconclusive, the kill is automatically denied. Make sure the splash is clearly captured on camera.
Admin Approval
Admins batch-approve kills every night (approximately 9:00 PM). Leaderboard updates reflect by the next morning. Be patient — all decisions are final.
Honor System 2.0
If a target disputes an elimination, the assassin must provide clear video evidence. Disputed kills without solid proof are denied. No exceptions.
Gear & Weapons
Allowed Gear
Swim goggles, arm floaties (must be inflated), ring/donut floaties (must be inflated), snorkeling goggles & snorkel, and life jackets are all approved. All gear must be fully visible and worn properly (no necalaces, bands, ect) — you cannot conceal it under clothing.
Allowed Weapons
Only water-based play devices are permitted: squirt guns, Super Soakers, water balloons, and similar toys. Water bottles and spray bottles are strictly prohibited and will result in an invalid kill.
Zones & Battlegrounds
School Grounds
Eliminations on school grounds can count as long as they follow the conduct rules below.
Conduct Rule (8:00 AM – 2:35 PM): During school hours, you may NOT skip class, leave class early, disrupt class, or otherwise interfere with the school day to get or avoid an elimination. Play smart, but don't let the game affect your education. Violations may result in your elimination not counting, point penalties, or in severe cases, disqualification.

Parking Lots
School parking lots are active gameplay zones. You are fair game the moment you step outside the building. This is where most eliminations happen.
Everywhere Else
Outside of school hours and off school grounds, the game is always on. Homes, stores, parks, restaurants — nowhere is safe. Stay alert and stay geared.
Protected Times
Academic Events
No eliminations during any official school-sanctioned event — sports practices, games, performances, DECA/HOSA, Band, etc. Players also get a 20-minute buffer before AND after these events.
Work-Shift Shield
If you are clocked in at your place of employment, you are 100% safe. The second you clock out and step into the parking lot, you are fair game. The shield does NOT extend after your shift ends.
General Rules
Follow All Laws
All participants must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws at all times. No exceptions. Illegal activity results in immediate disqualification and potential reporting to authorities.
Admin Decisions Are Final
The Commissioner and appointed admins have final authority on all disputes, rule interpretations, and eligibility decisions. There is no appeal process beyond what admins provide.
The Purge
The Purge
High Alert Mode6-Hour Weekend Window: Each Purge lasts up to 6 hours on a random weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). During the Purge, gear no longer protects you. This creates a massive shift in gameplay and forces activity. Purges will always be announced on our IG.
Random Timing: Admins will announce the exact day and time window via Instagram — @meadseniorassassin. Purges may occur at any point during the game, not just at round end. Stay alert.
School During Purge:Conduct rules still apply during a Purge. Once you're outside the building, you're fair game — even with gear on.
